Abstract
The Iowa City-Cedar Rapids Davenport area of Eastern Iowa, two potential sites commend themselves for consideration by the Commission. While they have many desirable features in common, each has several special attributes which should be of interest. Both sites are evaluated on the following pages in terms of the requirements set forth by the Commission. One such proposed site is identified herein as the North Liberty Site, taking its name from the village to which it is adjacent, a third of the way between Iowa City and Cedar Rapids. The second site is identified as the Sunbury Site, after the small Cedar County village located just to the north of Interstate 80, at a point approximately half-way between Iowa City and Davenport.
