Abstract
Notification of the availability of this environmental assessment was forwarded to state and areawide clearinghouses on March 4, 1985. Public availability of the assessment was included with the notice of the corridor public hearing on February 12 and March 5, 1985. The review period for the attached environmental assessment expired on April 10, 1985. Comments and revisions are included on the following pages. The FHWA has determined that this project will not have any significant impact on the human environment. This finding of no significant impact is based on the attached environmental assessment which has been independently evaluated by the FHWA and determined to adequately and accurately discuss the environmental issues and impacts of the proposed project. It provides sufficient evidence and analysis for determining that an environmental impact statement is not required. The FHWA takes full responsibility for the accuracy, scope, and content of the attached environmental assessment.
