Abstract
The soil temperature observations summarized in this publication have been made possible through the cooperation of Iowa State University, the Iowa Department of Agriculture and the Weather Bureau, United States Department of Commerce. These observations constitute the only soil temperature record in Iowa of any appreciable length.
