Abstract

This report is the result of analyzing the use and cost data for all Highway Commission vehicles including all passenger cars, station wagons and pickup trucks. The information obtained for each vehicle includes the costs and mileage for the life of the vehicle as of July 1, 1960. The costs were listed for fuel, parts, labor and total operating costs. Costs of operation for each vehicle on a per mile basis were computed for fuel, other operating costs and total operating costs. The mileage per gallon of fuel was also computed. Listings of these results are shown in Table "A" of the, Appendix.
