Abstract

This technical memorandum analyzes information from previous studies that have identified historic and projected future climate trends and the impacts of future climate variability on the Interstate 380 (I-380) transportation infrastructure between Interstate 80 (I-80) and U.S. Highway 30 (US 30) in eastern Iowa. This study, which relies on existing literature, available historical climate records, and projected climate information, focuses on the rural, non-urban areas of the corridor. Using this information, this technical memorandum identifies resiliency recommendations to be considered in subsequent environmental and engineering studies of the I-380 corridor
