Abstract
Iowa State Planning Board is functioning in the collection of basic data; in bringing together and integrating data, and in making plans preparatory to initiating programs of action; in making information and plans available to all departments and officials of the state, to city and county groups, and through the National Resources Committee to the Federal Government; and in serving as a clearing house and coordinator for certain federal activities within the state. Our work in land utilization may be cited as an illustration of this latter function.
