Abstract

The purpose of the report will be to place the bridge in engineering and historical perspective. Emphasis is to be on its local or state historical context because the specific engineering qualities of the bridge have already largely been covered in the statewide J993 Historic Bridge Inventory, prepared by consultant Fraserdesign for the Iowa Department of Transportation.
