Abstract
This course is intended for training of certified inspectors. It will acquaint you with the basics of hot mix asphalt (HMA) plants and related inspection duties. The basic project relationship involves an owner who wants work done to fill a need and is willing to pay for it and a contractor who agrees to perform that work to certain standards for an agreed price. In the case of government agencies, the owner is the public.
