Abstract

Driver education is taught in all states and has become a multimillion dollar undertaking for both private and public schools. The expenditure of such a large amount of money and the results of instruction have been questioned but little useable research has resulted from any investigations up to the present. The question of driver education's effectiveness in reducing traffic accidents, deaths, and injuries has not received an adequate answer, if any answer at all. PRIDE brouchure attached.
