Abstract

The Mason City Transit Development Plan outlines a transit development program for the City of Mason City. The plan provides a working guideline for transit development for a five year period, FY 1988-1992, based upon local. needs, goals, objectives and funding. The plan provides data on population, centers of activity, existing transit services and other factors affecting transportation. Unmet transportation needs are identified as are goals and objectives. This base data is then used to formulate development directions for transit services.
