Abstract

The river-lake water quality problems found within a basin are functions of the various activities of man that take place within that basin. Therefore, this Special Report has been prepared to provide a description of the Des Moines River basin in Iowa and the activities within the basin that influence or are influenced by the quality of water pertinent to determining lake water quality relationships in the Red Rock and Saylorville reservoirs.
