Abstract
The Mental Health Centers are thirty-two private not-for-profit corporations delivering a wide variety of community- based mental health services to the residents of Iowa. Almost three hundred staff members and 650 volunteer board members provide the nucleus for this delivery system. Multiple services are available on a variable fee basis to residents of the respective counties that the Centers serve.
