Abstract

Child labor statistics herein contained are based upon work permits issued during the biennial period of July 1, J920, to June 30, 1922. Any comparison with former reports is l1pon identical conditions of legal provisions, as there has been no change in the child labor law since July 4, 1915, except that where part-time schools, departments or classes are established the hours of labor per week are limited to forty instead of the former forty-eight hours.
