Abstract
Water quality, with particular attention to nitrate and pesticides, was monitored in the Nishnabotna alluvial aquifer during 1987. With respect to major ions, water. The Geological Survey Bureau, which prior to state government reorganization was the Iowa Geological Survey, has been engaged in studying alluvial aquifers with regard to water availability and quality since 1981.
