Abstract

A the Cedar River in Iowa. There are twin bridges at the location with dimensions of 1172 ft x 30 ft (see Figure 1). The westbound bridge was to be demolished soon after the load test for the construction of a new bridge. The bridge is multi-stringer (redundant) with welded plate girders.
