Abstract of document information

This handbook is an inspector's aid. It was written by an experienced inspector to bring together all of the most-often-needed information involved in his work. The beginning inspector should look to the handbook as a reference for correct practice. The Standard Specifications and Special Provisions should not, however, be overlooked as the basic requirements and restrictions concerning workmanship and materials.
