Abstract
The Purchase and Inventory System Concept Manua1 expresses the basic phi1osophy of the system and makes recommendations for po1icy decisions. To support the recommendations, proposed practices and methods are suggested for consideration. Contro1 Data Corporation, Meiscon Division is submitting the manua1 as a part of the project undertaken to eva1uate and recommend a system which wi11 provide accountabi1ity and contro1 over purchasing and inventory activities. The system must be simp1e and practica1 but must not jeopardize the prime objectives.
