Abstract
The Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is a comprehensive program of transportation ,on-related improvements within the Iowa City Urbanized Area. For~ consistency, projects in the rural portion of Johnson County are also included. This document includes both minor short-range projects and major long-term projects for all modes of transportation: transit, streets and highways, rail, bikeway, airport, and pedestrian. All transportation projects in the Urbanized Area receiving Federal funds must be programmed in this document.
