Abstract
Bureau of Public Roads, the Iowa State Highway Commission, and Stoner System, Inc., an outdoor advertising company, in a cooperative effort inaugurated a new concept in highway information services. Two information centers were opened at rest areas along Interstate 80 near Iowa City in an experimental program designed to provide travel information of interest to the motoring public.
