Abstract
As the culture changes, the role of Home Economics Extension is to help Iowa's families gain the understanding and skill to integrate new knowledge now and in the future. The Iowa Home Economics Extension will focus on five areas of state and national concern: family stability, consumer competence, family health, human housing and community resource development.
