Abstract
The University of Northern Iowa (UNI) Culture and Intensive English Program (CIEP) provides a course of instruction that emphasizes communicative control of spoken and written English for non-native speakers. The Program, which is designed for a maximum of 30 students, is primarily intended for those students who have already attained some proficiency in English.
