Abstract

Comprehensive Opioid Abuse Program (COAP) grant through the Department of Justice's Bureau of Justice Assistance. This funded a site-based diversion program for low-level drug offenders. The primary focus of the program was to use pre-arrest diversion to reduce the entry of low-level drug offenders into the criminal justice system by providing access to treatment and other services, in lieu of charges and correctional supervision.
