Abstract

Iowa Medicaid has been working for months on the “Continuous Coverage Unwind Plan” or simply the “Unwind Plan.” This plan includes a roadmap to address PHE changes and how we plan to resume normal activities. We have identified and addressed roadblocks and strategies as the PHE Unwind progresses. Iowa Medicaid is making sure access to Medicaid health coverage complies with the ever-changing expectations from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
