Abstract
The purpose of this study was to develop hypotheses on determinants of the relative importance of various objectives to grade A milk bargaining cooperatives. The procedure followed in this study is almost completely the reverse of the normal procedure in econometric work. Usually in econometric research we have prior hypotheses drawn from economic theory, knowledge of institutions or from previous econometric work.
