Abstract
Adequate health care at reasonable cost now is deemed a right of every individual in this nation. Implicitly, the delivery of these services requires a comprehensive health care system which includes all aspects of care preventive, therapeutic, convalescent, and custodial. Health occupations education programs in Iowa's public education system make a major contribution to the preparation of personnel to provide these services which have come to be expected by the citizens of Iowa as well as nationwide.
