Abstract
Community Education is a concept which emphasizes education as a lifelong learning process. Promotes a greater sense of community and improves the quality of community living. Joins the school and community in closer partnership. Makes maximum use of community resources. Identifies community needs and links resources to help solve community problems. Promotes communication, coordination and cooperation among community groups, agencies and organizations. Involves people in decision making through advisory councils.
