Abstract
This report is meant only to show the types of taxes Iowa manufacturers pay and to provide an example of how these taxes are levied. The detailed computations following this table should be carefully examined in order to better understand Iowa's tax structure. Iowa's corporate income tax applies only to that portion of business done within the state, as determined by the ratio of gross sales within Iowa to total gross sales of the plant.
