Abstract

This report defines and describes the services and technologies presently available in Iowa. Future technology and application trends are projected. Once this groundwork is laid, statistical data is presented to assess the current level of technological progress of the state's communications infrastructure. Demographic data are also displayed. This material will provide a baseline used in the subsequent needs assessment and policy analysis phases of the study.
