Abstract
Falls were the leading cause of unintentional injury deaths for all ages in Iowa in 2020. The majority of falls in Iowa occur in those ages 65 and older, which resulted in 542 unintentional injury deaths in 2020. This trend can be seen in adults 65 & Older have the highest rate of fall deaths over time.
