Abstract
This workshop entitled, "Status of Natural Resources in Iowa -1979, A Report to the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation" was initiated by the Executive Committee of the Foundation as a method of acquainting both the existing and new Trustees with the history, current situation, problems and needs in the field of natural resources in Iowa. This brief overview by the recognized experts in the various fields should serve as a benchmark for the Trustees in charting the success of the Foundation in obtaining its objectives and as an aid to establishing priorities for the specific Foundation programs.
