Abstract
This report assesses the impact of Iowa’s regent universities1 on the state economy and the benefits generated by the universities for students, taxpayers, and society. The results of this study show that the universities create a significant positive net impact on the state economy and generate an enormous positive return on investment for students, taxpayers, and society.
