Abstract
In order that the importance of the proper operation of s 1ch plants might be brought to the attention of those i charge, a conference for sewage disposal plant operators wa held at Iowa State College, Nov. 2 and 3, 1915. The program consisted of talks and demonstrations on the operation of sewage disposal plants, all explaining the necessity for better operation, and suggesting how the same might be secured. On the second afternoon inspections were made of a number of plants, which were found to be working with various degrees of efficiency, further ,emphasizing the importance of this subject.
