Abstract
In accordance with the Hospital Survey and Construction Act, Public Law 725, 79th Congress, a state wide inventory of existing hospital and public health facilities has been completed. This information is presented in the Report of Hospital and Public Health Resources in Iowa, Iowa State Department of Health. Included in the Report is statistical data on the hospital and public health facilities and services, professional personnel and related resources. Also included is a proposed system of coordinated hospitals and public health facilities. Herewith is presented the seventh annual revision of the Iowa Hospital Plan based upon the inventory and survey data. The format and content are in accordance with the Federal regulations promulgated by the United States Public Health Service.
