Abstract
While the total population of Iowa has experienced slow growth over recent decades, this stability for the state as a whole masks some striking changes which have occurred within the state. It will be the purpose of this report to develop a picture of the present distribution of numbers of people within the state, and examine the recent (1950-1960) changes which have contributed to this distribution.
