Abstract
Iowa Department of Human Services (DHS) made a specific commitment in late 2018 to elicit input from the provider community relative to current processes and practices. This included recommendations for improved outcomes for children and families; greater fiscal efficiency and, as Iowa approaches implementation of Family First Prevention Services Act (Family First), a particular sense of provider questions and concerns about the state’s vision for practice as well as technical implementation of the law.
