Abstract
Iowa Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (HSEMD) has facilitated a process to develop and update the Part C: Iowa Disaster Recovery Plan, which is the State of Iowa’s comprehensive disaster recovery plan and details State government’s goals, objectives, and strategies to recover from a wide range of natural and man-made disasters. This plan is developed in accordance with Iowa Code § 29C.8 (3) (a) which requires the HSEMD director to prepare a comprehensive plan for homeland security, disaster response, recovery, mitigation, and emergency response resource management for the state.
