Abstract
During Fall 2018, Iowa’s public universities enrolled 2,206 fewer students than during Fall 2017. This represents a -2.8% decrease in enrollment over one year but a +2.0% increase over five years. The total headcount (i.e., number of students) of 77,860 is the fourth highest enrollment in the history of the Regent universities.
