Abstract
During Fall 2017, Iowa’s public universities enrolled 203 fewer students than during Fall 2016. This represents a -0.3% decrease in enrollment over one year but a +9.5% increase over five years. The total headcount (i.e., number of students) of 80,066 is the second highest enrollment in the history of the Regent universities.
