Abstract
Each year, the Board conducts a series of reviews and approvals for budgetary and financial matters. The comprehensive fiscal report compares actual revenues and expenditures with the Board-approved budgets and identifies significant variances. The report also includes a five year history of actual revenues and expenditures for each university and special school. The Board approved the original university and special school FY 2012 budgets in August 2011. Revised FY 2012 operating budgets were later approved for each Iowa’s three public universities to reflect updated revenue projections. Details of the budget revisions are provided in the attachments.
