Abstract
This report, released annually, provides the total number of reportable diseases, confirmed and probable, identified by IDPH each year since 1930. Due to the nature of some diseases and how the reportable disease system has changed, the number of diseases reported many years ago are considered estimates and should be used for general/informational purposes only.
