Abstract

The purpose of this assessment of the CASSP program in Iowa is'to describe the county CASSP projects and to evaluate the degree to which they had an impact on the development of effective and coordinated service systems for the severely emotionally disturbed child and adolescent population in their counties. As the conclusions of each case study indicate, the CASSP grants did indeed have a positive effect on mental health services for children and adolescents.
