Abstract
In adopting new administrative rules for special education in 1995, Iowa changed from a state-developed definition and eligibility criteria for learning disability to the definition found in the implementing regulations of the Individuals with Disabilities Study Group - to develop preferred practice recommendations for the identification of students with learning disabilities. This is the Assessment and Decision Making Guide for educating individuals with learning disabilities.
