Abstract
This Bulletin serves three purposes. First, it rescinds Bulletin 08-any goods or services offered to a policyholder or prospective policyholder which are not specifically incorporated as part of the policy contract and made a part of the pricing of the policy are rebates and Second, it supersedes paragraph H of Bulletin 97-05, relating to rebates. Third, it establishes new guidelines for permissible advertising and gifts that will not constitute a prohibited rebate under Iowa Code 507B. A general discussion of the issues www.iid.state.ia.us.
