Abstract
This report is a continuing study of alcohol related fatal traffic accidents in the State of Iowa from year to year. The primary objective is to ascertain and evaluate the proportion of alcohol related fatal accidents. The secondary objective is to present information on the characteristics of alcohol related fatal traffic accidents and to examine the extent of drinking pedestrian· involvement, as well as information necessary for planning a countermeasures program.
