Abstract
This report is in response to a request from the Iowa General Assembly, found in the 1989 Session law, chapter 319. The bill directs in part for the Department of Education to "create an evaluation system reporting on educational excellence program Phase III activities under chapter 294A." It also directs the Department of Education to submit "a report on the evaluation system and the results of the evaluation of Phase III programs for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1989, to the general assembly by January 1, 1991."
