Abstract
This report presents an intermediate step in the .planning process leading up to the final plan. After the completion of future travel forecasts, the Initial 1985 Street and Highway Network was developed by the Consultant working jointly with the Technical Committee. This network, described in Interim Report Number 8 Transportation Facilities and Travel Pattern Forecasts, accommodated 1985 travel, was physically feasible and appeared to be within the financial means of the area. The Initial Network was then presented to the various planning agencies, governmental bodies and citizens' groups for their review and comments.
