Abstract
Dr. John Lemish, Iowa State University, in late 1968 undertook an unusual and perplexing project - a statement of the mineral deposits and their potentials in the state of Iowa. The information has never been previously completed in a consolidated manner. This special report is a result of these endeavors. The result is, we hope, a valuable tool for students of geology, industrialists, and the many interested citizens.
