Abstract

One purpose of this study was to determine prices and marketing's of milk and milk products that would have yielded maximum cash receipts to United States dairy farmers for 1964. Prices allocate resources among alternative uses and distribute income among the owners of the various factors of production. In this study, p1ices will be considered as equity instruments rather than as allocation instruments.
