Abstract

This study was conducted to allow prediction of the milk production surface under particular conditions with respect to breeds, feeds, temperature and other environmental characteristics. Prediction of the production function allows derivation of milk isoquants, feed isoclines, input-input curves, marginal substitution coefficients between grain and forage, and marginal feed-milk transformation ratios.
