Abstract
Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Services at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics include the Inpatient Unit, the Outpatient Clinic, and the Circle of Courage School. These programs use an integrated approach, assigning a team of professionals needed for children and adolescents up to age 18 to receive continuous, comprehensive psychiatric care. In addition to resident and faculty psychiatrists, this team may include a psychologist, social worker, nurse, nurse practitioner, teacher; speech/language pathologist, and occupational or activities therapist.
